Retort food products

After being filled and sealed
in retort pouches, the food products are retorted
at high temperature, sterilized in an air
and light-free condition. Foods packed in
this way can be preserved at normal temperature
outside a refrigerator for long periods. Usually,
the pouches are sterilized at a temperature
ranging from 105 ~ 120¡É and then instantly
frozen. |
